Myself along with three other peers delived a professional development in a double afternoon session at SAGE 2014. Our topic was iBooks Author and those teachers who signed up for our session, experienced how to create an iBook they would be able to use in their classroom. We began by giving an overview of what iBooks Author and iBooks have to offer in a classroom, and then dove right into creating their own iBook. We went over how to add intro media, chapters, chapter sections, videos, interactive images and quizzes. These are all great tools to incorporate into an iBook if you are wanting to begin working with them in your classroom. This was an incredible experience and I thoroughly enjoyed teaching teachers I will one day have the pleasure working with. To see the description of our session click here.
